Learn how to compost at home in your backyard. After attending the workshop, residents will qualify for a rebate, up to $75, towards the purchase of a traditional backyard home composting system. Attendance is required to qualify for the rebate. Note: This workshop will qualify you to apply for a rebate that covers a HOT composting bin only. If you are interested in WORM composting (inside your home), you would need to take our vermicomposting workshop. At this time, you cannot receive a rebate for both. The program is set up to award only one rebate per household. Workshops are open to District of Columbia residents ONLY. Space is limited and first come, first serve.
